In autumn, as if mysteriously called, people of
darkness began to gather. From behind stones, and behind trees did they appear.
Cast from shadows, long and slender were these living forms of the night. As
they day grew old, with the clock drawing long, these forms grew in number, and
I heard a song. More and more they gathered, and the chant could be heard.
Beckoned were the dark slivers of day, slivers void of light, which within hide
the creatures: angst and despair. "...Behold and see as you pass by, as you
are now so once was I, as I am now you soon shall be, prepare for death and
follow me..."
